Joshua Loar | Band Director
This is Mr. Loar's second year at Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools teaching K-5 Elementary Music & directing the 5-12 band program. . He is an alumnus of Alliance High School ('13) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Malone University in 2018 where he performed in numerous music ensembles and served for four years as undergraduate Instrumental Music Librarian. He has performed regularly during the summer with the Canton Concert Band since 2014 and with the Dominic Greco Band since 2023.

Beth Linerode | Assistant, Color Guard Advisor
Ms. Beth Linerode has served as Color Guard Advisor and Assistant to the Director of the Strasburg Marching Tigers for 12 years, assisting five different Strasburg band directors. A graduate of New Philadelphia High School and its competitive marching band, she has taught her love of Color Guard to over 25 students in the select Tiger Color Guard. Besides the numerous band shows and football games, she has also helped lead the band in performances at Disney World in Florida and on the Battleship Wisconsin in Virginia during her time at Strasburg. She also served at SFLS as a Paraprofessional/Teacher Aide for 13 years.
